Anyone who is anyone knows these two.This was my whole childhood and I'm still watching it. I have a problem with anyone who hates pokemon.It's not an addiction I'm a perfectly normal kid.
If you didn't know this already, the show revolves around a 10 year-old boy named Ash Kethum from Pallet Town in the Kanto region and his partner Pickachu as they travel around the world along with friends to become a pokemon master. On his 10th birthdy Ash goes to Professor Oak's lab to recieve his starter pokemon but the three starter pokemon bulbasaur, squirtle, and charmander were all taken. The Professor told Ash there was one more pokemon left and he quickly accepted it. At first Pikachu was uncooperative and stubborn but later on he warms up to Ash after they're attacked by a flock of Spearow. They run away and meet another trainer named Misty. Still being chased Ash takes her bike and tells her he'll return it. A while later Ash crashes so him and Pikachu are left stranded. The Spearow begin attacking them. Ash tries to protect Pikachu from being hurt. Pikachu jumps up off of Ash's shoulder and scares the flock with a thunder shock. After that Ash rushes to a pokemon center to get Pikachu healed.
As the show progressses Ash meets new people and goes on new journeys in new regions.
Ash Ketchum: A 10 year old boy from Pallet Town who's dream is to become a pokemon master. Ash is kind hearted and incredibly selfless but he has a tendency to get mad very easily. Very often he goes to extreme lengths to gain a pokemon's trust and respect. Ash has amazing determination when it comes to battling. He is shown training even harder with his pokemon after a defeat to challange the trainer that beat him. When he trains his pokemon he trains alongside them doing whatever they have to do. His partner is Pikachu.
Misty: One of Ash's closest friends and former companions. her goal is to be the best water pokemon trainer. Misty's personality can be very complex at times. She can be very nice to her friends but will quickly change moods in a short amount of time, particularly anger. She is really good with anything having to do with water such as fishing, swimming, and overall Water Pokemon training. Even though she wanted to stay with Ash, Misty felt like she had to watch over the Gym. The two went their separate ways, and Misty became the official Gym Leader at Cerulean City's Gym.
Brock: Brock is a Pokemon Breeder and a former Gym Leader of Pewter City who is a close friend and traveling companion of Ash. He originally trained Rock-type Pokemon, but he then became more diverse. His philosophy is that the important thing about being a Pokemon Trainer is the bond between Trainer and Pokemon.He is an experienced cook and caretaker by nature, so he always makes food both for Pokemon and for humans. One of his best known character traits is that he falls in love with every pretty woman he meets, particularly Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. He can tell whether they are real women or impostors as well.
